Hanover Mall

Hanover Mall is a one story, enclosed shopping mall with 80 shops and restaurants, including Macy's, Sears, J.C. Penney and Wal-Mart. The mall was built in 1971 and renovated in 1999. It serves local communities as a neighborhood mall of sorts, an alternative for shoppers looking to avoid the larger, more crowded malls nearby. Originally the mall anchors were Woolworth, Zayre and Almy's. Almy's closed in 1987 and its space was filled by Filene's.

Avedis Zildjian Company

The Avedis Zildjian Company is a cymbal manufacturer founded in Istanbul by Armenian Avedis Zildjian in the 17th century during the Ottoman Empire. At nearly 400 years old, Zildjian is one of the oldest companies in the world. It also sells drum-related accessories, such as drum sticks and cymbal carriers. On December 20, 2010, it was announced that Avedis Zildjian Company had merged with Vic Firth, Inc. According to the announcement, both companies will continue to run autonomously.

Wampatuck Pond

Wampatuck Pond is a 64-acre pond in Hanson, Massachusetts. Indian Head Brook both flows in and out of the pond. Along the northern shore of the pond are the Routes 14 and 58 concurrency, Hanson's Town Hall, and a small park. Access to the pond includes a concrete ramp managed by the Town of Hanson suitable for three trailers and six cars. The water quality is impaired due to noxious aquatic plants.
