WVMV

WVMV is a non-commercial, Christian FM radio station licensed to serve China Township, Michigan. It is owned by Smile FM and is part of the Smile FM network of Contemporary Christian music stations. The station came on the air in March 2012 with 1050 watts from a 75 meter tower near Algonac, Michigan. From 1996 until 2009 WVMV was the call sign of a Detroit smooth jazz station. That station currently uses the call sign WDZH.

New Baltimore, Michigan

New Baltimore is a city and a historic, coastal resort community in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 12,084 at the 2010 census. The 2008 Census Bureau Estimate places the population at 11,346. New Baltimore is in Metropolitan Detroit.

Algonac, Michigan

Algonac is a city in St. Clair County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,110 at the 2010 census. Algonac is located at the southern end of the St. Clair River, just before it splits into a large delta region known as the St. Clair Flats. The St. Clair River drains Lake Huron into Lake St. Clair and is part of the Great Lakes Waterway. At the center of Algonac is Algonac City Park, a park which contains a half-mile long boardwalk along the St. Clair River.

Russell Island (Michigan)

Russell Island is a small private island in the St. Clair River in the U.S. state of Michigan between Algonac and Walpole Island, Ontario, Canada. It is immediately upriver from Sand Island which is itself immediately upriver from Harsens Island; it includes two smaller islands, Anderson Island on the northwest, and "The Gold Coast" on the southwest. The island, which is accessible only via passenger ferry or by private watercraft, contains about 150 cottages.
