Dowagiac Municipal Airport is a public airport owned and operated by the City of Dowagiac located 1m (1.6 km) northwest of Dowagiac, Michigan, United States. The airport in uncontrolled, and is used for general aviation purposes. Additionally, radio controlled aircraft operations are permitted on the southeast side of runway 04/22. On average, 70 aircraft operations occur each week, and 100% of the operations are general aviation. No commercial airline service is available.

Dowagiac, Michigan

Dowagiac is a city in Cass County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 5,879 at the 2010 census. It is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area. Dowagiac is situated at the corner of four townships: Wayne Township to the northeast, LaGrange Township to the southeast, Pokagon Township to the southwest, and Silver Creek Township to the northwest. The city name comes from the Potawatomi word meaning "fishing water".

Dowagiac (Amtrak station)

Dowagiac is a train station in Dowagiac, Michigan, served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. The station was built by the Michigan Central Railroad in 1903, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. A restoration project took place in 1995. Of the 22 Michigan stations served by Amtrak, Dowagiac was the 21st-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 9 passengers daily.

Dowagiac River

The Dowagiac River is a 30.9-mile-long stream in the Lower Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The stream rises as the "Dowagiac Drain" a few miles east of Decatur in central Decatur Township in southern Van Buren County, Michigan. Flowing west and south, it is joined first by Red Run and then by the Lake of the Woods Drain near the southern edge of Hamilton Township, it becomes the "Dowagiac River" before entering Wayne Township in Cass County.
