Girard Township, Michigan

Girard Township is a civil township of Branch County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 1,916. A small area in the south of the township, just west of I-69 has been annexed to the city of Coldwater, even though it is noncontiguous with the rest of the city. An area on the east side of Morrison Lake in the Coldwater River is considered to be part of the Coldwater urban area, although it remains unincorporated.

WNWN-FM

WNWN-FM (98.5 FM, "Win 98-5") is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Coldwater, Michigan with studios in Battle Creek, it first began broadcasting in 1950 under the WTVB-FM call sign at 98.3 on the FM dial and spent most of its early existence as a simulcast of sister station WTVB before changing to its current calls, format, and frequency. Union Township, Branch County, Michigan

Union Township is a civil township of Branch County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,121 at the 2000 census. The village of Union City is the only incorporated municipality in the township. The only other settlement in the primarily agricultural township is the unincorporated community of Hodunk, situated on the boundary with adjacent Girard Township near the junction of Hog Creek and the Coldwater River.
