The Hersey River is a 13.4-mile-long stream in the Lower Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. It rises in Lincoln Township in northwest Osceola County at the junction of Hersey Creek and the East Branch Hersey Creek at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:43|50|55|N|85|25|59|W|region:US-MI_type:river_source:GNIS | |name= }}. For approximately the first two miles, the river flows southward just east of U.S. Route 131.

Townline Lake is a 73-acre lake located in Mecosta County near the City of Big Rapids, Michigan. It is located in Colfax Township and Big Rapids Township. It has a maximum depth of 50 feet . Grass Lake (Private-approximately 6 acres) is located in the NW section of Townline Lake and has an outlet which feeds Townline Lake. The outlet from Townline feeds ultimately into Ryan Creek. Fish species include bass, bluegill, northern pike, and crappie.
