Flint Engine South is a General Motors automobile engine factory in Flint, Michigan. The 733,000-square-foot plant opened in 2000 and is named to complement the Flint North engine plant. It is the site of production of the modern GM Atlas engine and GM High Feature engines. On September 25, 2008, GM announced a $370 million investment to build another engine plant at the Flint South complex.

Grand Blanc is a city in Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan and a suburb of Flint. The population was 8,276 as of the 2010 US Census. The city is situated within Grand Blanc Charter Township, but is politically independent. A ballot question in the May 2, 2006 Genesee County general election ended governmental research into a plan to consolidate the city and township governments; 68.62% of city voters opposed consolidation efforts whereas 31.38% were in favor.

Flint Truck Assembly
Flint Truck Assembly is an automobile factory operated by General Motors in Flint, Michigan. It is the city's main plant. The Flint factory produces full-size GM pickup trucks for consumers as well as the commercial Heavy Duty versions. The factory has two lines, with #1 producing the Heavy Duty trucks and #2 producing medium-duty consumer versions. The plant, on Van Slyke Road, was built shortly after the end of World War II and was split between Fisher Body and Chevrolet.

The Perani Arena and Event Center (originally IMA Sports Arena) is a sports, entertainment and convention venue in Flint, Michigan, USA. It was built in 1969. The main arena of the complex, the largest exhibit hall of complex, features 29,280 square feet of space and can accommodate 4,021 for ice hockey and 6,069 for concerts, plus 400 in standing room. It is the home the Michigan Warriors of the North American Hockey League. The second arena in the complex feaures 27,206 square feet of space.
