Bay Mills Community College is a two-year tribal college chartered by the Bay Mills Indian Community of Michigan. Bay Mills Indian Community

The Bay Mills Indian Community (BMIC), known in Ojibwe as Gnoozhekaaning or Place of the Pike, is an Indian reservation forming the land base of one of the many Sault Ste. Marie bands of Chippewa Indians. (Not to be confused with the "Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians" located in Sault Ste. Marie, MI). The largest section of the reservation is located in Chippewa County, Michigan, approximately 15 miles (25 km) west-southwest of Sault Ste.

Gros Cap Reefs Light

The Gros Cap Reefs Light is a lighthouse located at the entrance to St. Mary's River from Lake Superior. Light Characteristics \tFlashing red every 5 seconds, visible for 12 miles The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Tower closed. The opening of this aid to navigation resulted in the deactivation of the Point Iroquois Light in 1962.
