Gaines Charter Township is a charter township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 25,146 at the 2010 census. The township is about 13 miles south of downtown Grand Rapids. It is directly south of the city of Kentwood. The Charter Township of Caledonia and Village of Caledonia are to the east. WGRD-FM is an active rock radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The station is owned by Townsquare Media. WGRD-FM is the flagship station of The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show, a comedy/talk program, on weekday mornings. It consists of five members: Greg "Free Beer" Daniels, Chris "Hot Wings" Michels, Eric (Zeitunian) Zane, Joe "Producer Joe" Gasmann, Jr, and Steve McKiernan. WCSG (standing for “College and Seminary of Grand Rapids”) is a radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, that began broadcasting after five years of preparation on June 9, 1973, with an easy listening and fine arts format. In 1981, WCSG’s programming changed to a primarily Christian format and three years later, the station began broadcasting inspirational programming and music twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
