Michigan Governor's Mansion

The Michigan Governor's Mansion is located in the U.S. state capital of Lansing, Michigan. The gated mansion is in a secured area of a private neighborhood. An official summer residence is located on Mackinac Island. Both residences are owned by the state of Michigan and are maintained with private donations. Lansing Delta Township Assembly (GM LDT) is a General Motors automobile assembly factory in Delta Township, Michigan on land that is shared by both the nearby city of Lansing, and the township. It manufactures Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles. Completed in 2006, the factory measures 3,400,000 square feet in size, and employed 3,634 hourly workers, and 262 salaried workers as of 2010.

J. W. Sexton High School

J. W. Sexton High School is a public school located on the western edge of Lansing, Michigan, United States, in the Lansing School District. The principal is currently Sandra Noecker. The Sexton Big Reds are members of the Capital Area Activities Conference. The school has a fierce rivalry with the Everett Vikings of Everett High School on the south side of the city. In March 2012 the Lansing School District announced that Sexton would house 7-12 grades beginning in the 2012-2013 school year.

Lansing Craft Centre

The Lansing Craft Centre was a specialized General Motors automobile assembly factory in Lansing Township, Michigan. The plant started production (as the Reatta Craft Centre) in 1987 and closed in 2006. At the time of its closure, the plant was 985,000 square feet in size, and employed 400 workers. The facility was originally built by GM as a foundry in 1919, and sat across Saginaw Street from the Lansing Metal Center.

Michigan Supreme Court

The Michigan Supreme Court is the highest court in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is known as Michigan's "court of last resort" and consists of seven justices who are elected to eight-year terms. Candidates are nominated by political parties and are elected on a nonpartisan ballot.
