Homer is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Homer Township, Winona County, Minnesota, United States. It is located to the southeast of the city of Winona along the Mississippi River at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:44|01|17|N|91|33|23|W|region:US | |name= }} on the southern shore of the Mississippi River. As of the 2010 census, its population was 181.

Winona (Amtrak station)

Winona is a train station in Winona, Minnesota served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It was originally built in 1888 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. A former Milwaukee Road freight house also exists here. Winona has also had at least four former stations used by the Chicago and North Western Railroad. Winona is served by Amtrak's daily Empire Builder, a train originally owned by the Great Northern Railway, which also had a station in Winona.

Maxwell Field at Verizon Wireless Stadium

Maxwell Field at Verizon Wireless Stadium is a stadium at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. It has been the home to Winona State Warriors football team since at least the 1937 season. It was named Maxwell Field in honor of then-current Winona State president Guy Maxwell. Maxwell Hall, formerly the Maxwell Library, was also named in his honor.
