Heatonville, Missouri
Heatonville is a small unincorporated community in Lawrence County, Missouri, United States. It lies along former U.S. Route 66 about six miles (10 km) north-east of Mount Vernon. The town was founded in 1868 as the town of Heaton and later renamed. The coming of Route 66 brought numerous businesses to life in Heatonville until the building of Interstate 44 to the south, which brought the town down to a single business and a few homes.

Spencer, Missouri
Spencer is a small unincorporated crossroads in eastern Lawrence County, Missouri, United States. It lies along former U.S. Route 66 (now a county road) about six miles (10 km) west of Halltown. It started as a post office founded in the late 1870s on Carthage Road, later to become US 66. A store and church were built, but in 1912 the old road became impassable and the town dwindled.
