Midridge, Missouri

Midridge is an unincorporated community in northeastern Shannon County, Missouri, United States. It is located on a county road about sixteen miles northeast of Eminence. It formerly had a post office/General Store, but that is closed and mail is now delivered to the community from Bunker. Midridge now consists of two houses and the old storebuilding, one occupied. There was an old one room school house in the 1930s and early '40's, but it burnt down.

Huzzah Creek is a 35.8-mile-long clear-flowing stream in the southern part of the U.S. state of Missouri. According to the information in the Ramsay Place Names File at the University of Missouri, the creek's name "is evidently derived from" Huzzaus, one of the early French versions of the name of the Osage people.

Doss, Missouri

Doss is a small unincorporated community in Dent County, Missouri, United States. It is located about five miles south of Salem. Its post office has closed and mail now comes from nearby Salem. The community was founded in 1889 and is named for the printer William Doss, of the Dent County Democrat.
