St. Albans is an unincorporated community in northeastern Franklin County, Missouri, United States. It lies less than a mile north of Route 100 about seven miles west of Wildwood. Labadie, Missouri

Labadie is an unincorporated community in Franklin County, Missouri, United States. It is located about three miles north of Gray Summit. The community is named after Sylvester Labaddie, Jr. , a hunter who (by some accounts) was killed by a bear in nearby Labaddie's Cave. A county history published in 1968, however, records that he "died peacefully in his bed in his 70th year, on July 25, 1849, at his home on Olive Street in St. Louis. " Labadie post office was established June 7, 1855.

Matson, Missouri

Matson is an unincorporated community in southern St. Charles County, Missouri. It is located about three miles south of Defiance on Route 94 and near the Missouri River. Since its post office closed, its mail now comes from Defiance. It was named for an early settler.

Gray Summit, Missouri

Gray Summit is a census-designated place (CDP) in Franklin County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,701 at the 2010 census. Also called Gray's Summit, it was founded by Daniel Gray of New York who built a hotel here in 1845. This community was the highest point on the Missouri Pacific Railroad between St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri; a railroad tunnel runs underneath the community. It is located on Interstate 44 and is home to Purina Farms and the Shaw Nature Reserve.

Shaw Nature Reserve

Shaw Nature Reserve, formerly known as Shaw Arboretum, is a 2,400 acres private nature reserve located in Gray Summit, Missouri, that is run by the Missouri Botanical Garden as an extension. The area was opened in 1925 when pollution from coal smoke in St. Louis threatened the garden's live plant collection, especially the orchid collection.
