Lupus is a city in Moniteau County, Missouri, United States. The population was 33 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was originally named Wolfe's Point. However, when it was discovered that another city in Missouri had a similar name the city was forced to change its name. A local school teacher suggested Lupus, the Latin for wolf.

The area was first settled in 1817, making it the second oldest settlement in Boone County. The village was founded on August 1, 1892 and named after W.B. Hunt. Huntsdale was first incorporated in 1906, but that status eventually fell into neglect and the last village council election took place in 1929.
