Wasola, Missouri

Wasola is an unincorporated community in northern Ozark County, Missouri. It is sixteen miles north of Gainesville on Route 5 at the northern intersection with Route 95. A few businesses and homes are located there. The community was founded in 1912 and has an unknown derivation, according to Ramsay, possibly it is a coinage that is reminiscent of a Native American word.

Foil, Missouri

Foil, Missouri is an unincorporated community in northern Ozark County. It is about sixteen miles south of Ava on a county road. It formerly had a post office with ZIP code 65661, but mail is now served by the post office in Squires. Its postmaster was Irving Terry, who also ran the General Store. Foil also was home to a one-room schoolhouse until the late 1950s.

Squires, Missouri

Squires is an unincorporated community in Douglas County, Missouri, United States. Squires is located about eight miles south of Ava on Route 5. The original Post Office application was filed by John Squire, an Englishman, who wanted to establish the Post Office of "Squire's, Missouri" to be housed in his general store. The request for a Post Office was granted March 21, 1888.
