Rock Creek is a 52-mile river in Missoula and Granite County, Montana. Rock Creek is a tributary of the Clark Fork river. Philipsburg is a town in and the county seat of Granite County, Montana, United States. The population was 820 at the 2010 census. The town was named after the famous mining engineer Philip Deidesheimer, who designed and supervised the construction of the ore smelter around which the town originally formed.

Discovery Ski Area

Discovery Ski Area is an alpine ski area near the old mining town of Anaconda, Montana, off Highway 1 and is situated along the scenic Pintler Loop opposite of Georgetown Lake. Situated on Rumsey Mountain and Jubilee, the area consists of 4 different faces and provides for beginner groomed runs to expert bowl skiing.
