Garryowen, Montana

Garryowen is a private town in Big Horn County, Montana, United States owned by Chris Kortlander. The "Townhall" currently houses a Conoco gas station and convenience store, a Subway, an arts & crafts store called "The Trading Post," and the Custer Battlefield Museum. This town is currently for sale, but an auction in August 2012 was cancelled after no one registered to bid. It has a population of only two.

Battle of the Little Bighorn

The Battle of the Little Bighorn was an armed engagement between combined forces of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes, against the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. The battle, which occurred on June 25 and 26, 1876 near the Little Bighorn River in eastern Montana Territory, was the most prominent action of the Great Sioux War of 1876.

Crow Agency, Montana

Crow Agency is a census-designated place (CDP) in Big Horn County, Montana, United States and is near the actual location for the Little Bighorn National Monument and re-enactment known as Custer's Last Stand. The population was 1,616 at the 2010 census. It is Montana's Crow Indian Reservation headquarters.

Little Big Horn College is a Native American tribal college based on the Crow Indian Reservation in Crow Agency, Montana, in south central Montana. Current enrollment is 398 students. Little Big Horn College is a two-year, tribally owned community college, serving the people of the Crow Indian Reservation.
