KBOW (550 AM, "Country 550") is a radio station licensed to serve Butte, Montana. The station is owned by Butte Broadcasting, Inc. It airs a country music format. The main offices and studios of Butte Broadcasting are at 660 Dewey in Butte. The KBOW transmitter site is southwest of town on Beef Trail Road. Butte Civic Center

The Butte Civic Center is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Butte, Montana, USA. Opened in 1952, it hosts locals sporting events and concerts as well as political events. It was the home of the Continental Basketball Association's Butte Daredevils, who played there from their founding in 2006 until they folded in 2008. The arena's current primary tenant is the Butte Roughriders of the Northern Pacific Hockey League.

Pipestone Pass (Montana)

Pipestone Pass is a mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains of Montana in the United States. It sits on the continental divide in Silver Bow County, Montana, 10 miles south of Butte, Montana in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest at a height of 6,347 ft (1,935m). The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (commonly known as the Milwaukee Road) used the pass for its crossing of the Continental Divide on its mainline between Chicago, Illinois and the Pacific Northwest.
