Cheyenne County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of 2010, the population was 9,998. Its county seat is Sidney. In the Nebraska license plate system, Cheyenne County is represented by the prefix 39 as it had the thirty-ninth-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922.

Sidney High School (Nebraska)

Sidney High School is the only high school in the city of Sidney, Nebraska. The total enrollment as of February 2009 was 386. A new $17 million building was under construction during the 2008-2009 school year and was completed shortly after school started in August 2009. The new school was dedicated in August 2009. Sidney is in Class B in the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA). Sidney High School's mascot is the Red Raider.
