Silver Creek Communications Annex

Silver Creek Communications Annex was a 373.7 metres (1226 ft) tall guyed mast used by the USAF Survivable Low Frequency Communications System Site, which was built near Silver Creek, Nebraska at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|20|46|N|97|43|18|W| | |name= }} . Detachment 1, 33d Communications Squadron, 1st Aerospace Communications Group (later 55th Communications Group) out of Offutt AFB, ran the site until its deactivation.

Morning Star Lake (Nebraska)

Morning Star Lake is a lake in the central part of the U.S. state of Nebraska. Off the Platte River just outside of Clarks, the lake is part of a complex of five private, manmade lakes called "Summerwood". The lakes were built as a result of the sand and gravel mining efforts of Overland Sand and Gravel. The lakes are spring fed, sand bottom lakes with clear, clean water. Summerwood is a gated community and Morning Star Lake has approximately 40 houses on it.

The center of population of Nebraska is located in Polk County, near the village of Shelby. In the Nebraska license plate system, Polk County is represented by the prefix 41 (it had the forty-first-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922).
