Mount Starr King is a mountain located in Coos County, New Hampshire. The mountain is named after Thomas Starr King (1824–1864), and is part of the Pliny Range of the White Mountains. Mt. Starr King is flanked to the east by Mount Waumbek, and to the northwest by Haystack Mountain. Starr King is drained by various brooks into the Israel River, and thence into the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound.

Mount Waumbek

Mount Waumbek is a mountain located in Coos County, New Hampshire. The mountain is part of the Pliny Range of the White Mountains. Waumbek is flanked to the northeast by Mount Weeks, to the west by Mount Starr King, and to the southeast by Pliny Mountain (1099 m). Waumbek is drained by various brooks into the Israel River, and thence into the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound.

South Branch Israel River

The South Branch of the Israel River is a 6.8-mile-long river in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Israel River and part of the Connecticut River watershed. For most of its length, it is within the White Mountain National Forest. The South Branch rises on the western slopes of Mount Jefferson in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains.

South Weeks, or Mount Weeks-South Peak, is a mountain located in Coos County, New Hampshire. The mountain is named for United States Senator John W. Weeks (1860–1926) of nearby Lancaster, New Hampshire, the sponsor of the Weeks Act of 1911, under which the White Mountain National Forest was established. South Weeks is part of the Pliny Range of the White Mountains. South Weeks is flanked to the northeast by Mount Weeks, and to the southwest by Mount Waumbek.

Owl's Head (Carroll, New Hampshire)

Owl's Head or Owlshead is a 3,258-foot peak of Cherry Mountain, in Carroll, New Hampshire, United States, and (at least since 2001) the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF). The lower reaches of the mountain also extend northward into the town of Jefferson. It is known both as the namesake of the nearby Owl's Head Highway, and as a hiking destination on the Owl's Head Trail.
