Black River (New Jersey)

The Black River, known as the Lamington River downstream of Pottersville, is a tributary of the North Branch Raritan River in central New Jersey in the United States. The Black River starts near that of the North Branch Raritan River, several miles west of Morristown, and flows through the Black River Wildlife Management Area, the Black River County Park, and Hacklebarney State Park. It flows through Chester, New Jersey and the town school is named after it.

Long Valley, New Jersey

Long Valley is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Washington Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Known as German Valley since its foundation during the colonial era, the community was renamed in response to anti-German sentiment during World War I. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 1,879.

The Washington Township Schools are a community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from Washington Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The district includes five schools and a central office. As of the 2009-10 school year, the district's four schools had an enrollment of 2,763 students and 206 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.41:1.

Washington Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 18,533, reflecting an increase of 941 (+5.3%) from the 17,592 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 2,000 (+12.8%) from the 15,592 counted in the 1990 Census. \tIt's one of six municipalities (five of which are townships) in the state of New Jersey with the name Washington. Washington Borough, in fact is only 10 miles away.
