As of the 2010 United States Census, the township had a total population of 64,634, reflecting an increase of 284 (+0.4%) from the 64,350 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 10,553 (+19.6%) from the 53,797 counted in the 1990 Census. The township ranked as the 19th most-populous municipality in the state in 2010 after having been ranked 18th in 2000.
