Ocean County College is an accredited, coeducational, two-year, public, community college located in Ocean County, New Jersey. Its main campus is in Toms River. Toms River is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated area located within Toms River Township (formerly Dover Township), in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 88,791. It is the county seat of Ocean County. The area is named for Toms River, whose estuary flows through the community and empties into Barnegat Bay. Toms River Township and the census-designated place are not co-extensive.

Lavallette, New Jersey

Lavallette is a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 1,875, reflecting a decline of 790 (-29.6%) from the 2,665 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 366 (+15.9%) from the 2,299 counted in the 1990 Census. Lavallette is situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean.
