Cape May

Cape May is a peninsula and island (divided by a narrow channel); the southern tip of the island is the southernmost point of the state of New Jersey, United States. It runs southwards from the New Jersey mainland, separating Delaware Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. The cape is named for Cornelius Jacobsen Mey, a Dutch explorer who was working for the Dutch East India Company.

Cape May County Park & Zoo

The Cape May County Park & Zoo in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, provides free year-round admission to a collection of over 550 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres of exhibits. The zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North, in the center of Cape May County's Central Park, and together the zoo and the park cover about 220 acres . The zoo began operation in 1978. Its principal exhibit areas are a 57-acre African Savanna, a free-flight aviary, and a reptile collection.

WMGM-TV

WMGM-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station for South Jersey that is licensed to Wildwood. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 36 from a transmitter along Avalon Boulevard in the Swainton section of Middle Township, east of the Garden State Parkway off Exit 13. The station can also be seen on Comcast channel 4 and in high definition on digital channel 791. Owned by Access.1 Communications, WMGM has studios on New Road in Linwood.

Leaming's Run Gardens

Leaming's Run Gardens (30 acres) are flower gardens located at 1845 US Route 9 North, Swainton, in Middle Township, New Jersey. The gardens are open daily, May 15th - October 20th. An admission fee is charged. The gardens were designed and created by Jack and Emily Aprill and children, and opened to the public in 1977. At present, Leaming's Run Gardens claims to be the largest annual flower garden in the United States.
