Rio Rancho High School

Rio Rancho High School or (RRHS) is a public senior high school of the Rio Rancho Public Schools. Located in west central Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Established in 1997, Much of the money to build RRHS was appropriated by the Intel Corporation. RRHS obtained most of its students from nearby Cibola High School in Albuquerque. Enrollment at the school stands at 2,359. The Mascot of RRHS is the Ram, their colors are: Navy blue, hunter green, and white.

Santa Ana Star Center

Santa Ana Star Center is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, a suburb of Albuquerque. The arena is located near the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Paseo del Volcan. It is part of a larger "City Centre" project, which also includes a new city hall. Santa Ana Star Casino purchased the naming rights to the arena in a five-year, $2.5 million deal signed in July 2006. The arena was previously known as Rio Rancho Events Center.

Middle Rio Grande Valley AVA

The Middle Rio Grande AVA is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) located in the watershed of the Rio Grande in central New Mexico that was established in 1988. The AVA encompasses 278,400 acres of land in a narrow strip along the Rio Grande valley from Santa Fe to Belen, just south of Albuquerque. The land ranges from 4,000 to 6,500 feet (to m) in elevation. The climate is semi-arid, with warm days and cool nights. Sub-freezing temperatures occur in the winter.
