Corrales, New Mexico

Corrales is a village in Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 8,329 at the 2010 Census. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. With proximity to the Rio Grande, the village was founded for agricultural purposes. The Rio Grande Bosque on the eastern edge of the village provides refuge for native animals and plants.

La Cueva High School

La Cueva High School is a public high school located in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is part of the Albuquerque Public Schools District. Its mascot is the bear. The La Cueva Cluster has several middle and elementary schools that feed into it, which include Desert Ridge, Madison, and Eisenhower middle schools, Dennis Chavez, Double Eagle, E. G. Ross, Hubert Humphrey, and North Star elementary schools. La Cueva started in 1986 with 1200 students ranging from freshman to juniors.
