Organ Needle
Organ Needle is the highest point of the Organ Mountains in the south-central part of the US state of New Mexico. It lies in Doña Ana County, 13 miles east-northeast of Las Cruces and 4 miles southwest of White Sands, headquarters of the White Sands Missile Range. It is at the southeast end of a narrow ridge of vertically-jointed granite called The Needles. Organ Needle is one of the most dramatic peaks in the state. True to its name, it is a steep, pointed summit.

The Pan American Center is a multi-purpose arena in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The arena has a current seating capacity of 12,482 people. The arena serves as home of the New Mexico State Aggies Men's and Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball teams. The arena hosted the 2007 and 2008 Western Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, as well as the 2007 WAC Volleyball Tournament.

The Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) is a network of American communications satellites (each called a Tracking and Data Relay Satellite) and ground stations used by NASA for space communications. The system was designed to replace an existing network of ground stations that had supported all of NASA's manned flight missions. The prime design goal was to increase the time spacecraft were in communication with the ground and improve the amount of data that could be transferred.
