Chittenango Falls State Park

Chittenango Falls State Park is located in Madison County, New York east of Cazenovia Lake. The 167 foot waterfall cascades over roughly 400 million year old bedrock, flowing beneath a wooden bridge spanning the meandering Chittenango Creek. The park offers a variety of activities like picnic tables with pavilions, a playground, a nature trail, hiking, and fishing. Approximately 57,000 visitors come to the Park each year to engage in a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

Cazenovia Lake

Cazenovia Lake /ˌkæzɨˈnoʊviə/ is a lake in New York, United States. It is located 20 miles from Syracuse, New York. Cazenovia, New York is located southeast of the lake. The lake is roughly 4 miles (6.5 km) long and 0.5 mile (1 km) wide. It is 65 feet (20 m) at its deepest point. Cazenovia Lake is drained from its south-east corner which flows into Chittenango Creek about 1/2 mile (800 m) to the east.
