" The Town of Crown Point is on the eastern edge of the county. It is 39 miles southwest of Burlington, VT, 44 miles north-northeast from Queensbury, NY, 108 miles south of Montreal, Quebec, and 90 miles north of Albany, New York.

Crown Point State Historic Site
Crown Point State Historic Site is the site of a former military stronghold at the south end of the wider part of Lake Champlain. The location is in Essex County, New York, USA. The site is on a peninsula in the town of Crown Point, New York. Crown Point is the location of the 1734–1759 French-built Fort St. Frédéric limestone fortress and an even more ambitious British fort constructed during the French and Indian War, starting in 1759, Fort Crown Point.

Champlain Bridge (United States)
The Champlain Bridge (also known as the Crown Point Bridge) was a 2,184 feet long vehicular bridge in the United States that traversed Lake Champlain between Crown Point, New York and Chimney Point, Vermont. It was opened to traffic in 1929 as a toll bridge; the tolls were removed in 1987. The bridge was closed due to safety concerns in October 2009 and was taken down by explosive demolition on December 28, 2009. A replacement bridge opened on November 7, 2011.
