Crown Point is a town in Essex County, New York, USA. The population was 2,024 at the 2010 census. The name of the town is a direct translation of the original French name, "Point au Chevalure. " The Town of Crown Point is on the eastern edge of the county. It is 39 miles southwest of Burlington, VT, 44 miles north-northeast from Queensbury, NY, 108 miles south of Montreal, Quebec, and 90 miles north of Albany, New York.

Ticonderoga High School

Ticonderoga High School is a historic high school building located at Ticonderoga in Essex County, New York. It was built in 1928-1930 and is a three story, masonry neo-Georgian style building with a slate roof, concrete foundation, and brick walls. It features a semi-circular portico with Corinthian order columns and a balustrade and a copper polygonal cupola. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
