Georgica Pond

Georgica Pond is a 290-acre coastal lagoon on the west border of East Hampton Village and Wainscott, and was the site of a Summer White House of Bill Clinton in 1998 and 1999. The lagoon is separated by a 50-foot sandbar and is managed by the East Hampton Trustees who monitor a cycle of draining the lagoon and replenishing it with Atlantic Ocean water. Celebrities on its banks include Steven Spielberg, Ronald Perelman, developer Harry Macklowe and formerly Martha Stewart and Calvin Klein.

East Hampton (LIRR station)

East Hampton is a station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, on Railroad Avenue between Newtown Lane and Race Lane, in East Hampton, New York. Parking is available along Railroad Avenue as far west as King Street. A bus/taxi lane is in front of the station house. East Hampton station was built in 1895 by the Brooklyn and Montauk Railroad. The original station house survives, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 2, 2000.

Maidstone Club

The Maidstone Club is a private country club on the Atlantic Ocean in the village of East Hampton, New York. In addition to a private beach, pool, tennis house, and club house, Maidstone has both an 18-hole and 9-hole private golf course. The Club derives its name from the original name for East Hampton, which was Maidstone, named after Maidstone in England. Lasata

Lasata was the girlhood summer home of First Lady of the United States Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in East Hampton, New York until she was about 12. The two-story, gray-stucco mansion or the George Schurman house at 121 Further Lane was built in 1917 on 12 acres two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and three blocks from the Maidstone Club. The house is still privately owned and in 2006 it was offered for sale for $25 million.
