A.E. Vickery was a wooden three masted schooner built in 1861 and measured 136.2 ft. x 26.2 ft. x 10.8 ft. The boat was launched in July 1861 at Three Mile Bay, New York as J.B. Penfield, and under that name sailed through the Welland Canal coming from Detroit to Oswego, New York. It was renamed A.E.

Murray Isle
Murray Isle is an island in the Thousand Islands region of the St. Lawrence River in the U.S. state of New York. The island lies in the Town of Clayton, near its border with the Town of Orleans, in the northern part of Jefferson County. Today Murray Isle is the site of many summer cottages. While the record is unclear, it is believed that the first cottage on Murray Isle was built in 1860. The structure, a simple log cabin, was owned by Daniel Sherman.

Wellesley Island State Park
Wellesley Island State Park is located on Wellesley Island in the St. Lawrence River in the Town of Orleans in Jefferson County, New York at 44° 19'North, 76° 00' West. The park is divided into sections that are on different parts of the island. It has the largest camping complex in the Thousand Islands region, including wilderness campsites on the banks of the St. Lawrence accessible only by foot or boat. The park is open year round.
