Indian Lake, New York
Indian Lake is a town in Hamilton County, New York, United States. The population was 1,352 at the 2010 census. The name is from a large lake partly inside the town. There are no permanent stop lights in the town, much less the county. The Town of Indian Lake is on the east border of the county and is northeast of Utica. Indian Lake terms itself the "Moose capital of the Northeast."

WXLH
WXLH (91.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to Blue Mountain Lake, New York. The station is owned by St. Lawrence University, and is an affiliate of their North Country Public Radio network . The call letters WXLH were previously assigned to a broadcast station 1260 KHz operated by the US military. It started broadcasting on the island of Okinawa in May, 1945 shortly after US occupation of the island. Broadcasting as WXLH continued for many years afterward.

Blue Mountain is a peak in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State in the United States. Located east of Blue Mountain Lake, Hamilton County, the peak reaches a height of 3750 ft/1143m. For hiking, the elevation gain is 1,559 feet (475 meters) and the trail length is four miles. The trailhead elevation is 2,200 feet (670.56 meters). It is the location of the Blue Mountain Fire Observation Station, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Blue Mountain Lake also refers to the lake on the banks of which the hamlet is situated. Blue Mountain Lake is about 65 miles north of Utica, New York and about 90 miles northwest from Albany, New York. The place is named after the mountain peak, Blue Mountain.
