Taconic Correctional Facility

Taconic Correctional Facility is a medium security women's prison in Bedford Hills, New York that is operated by the New York Department of Corrections. It is associated with the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, a maximum security women's prison. In 1901 it opened as the New York State Reformatory for Women between the ages of 15 and 30.

Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women

Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women is a prison for women in Bedford Hills in the Town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York, USA. Bedford Hills, the only New York State Department of Correctional Services women's maximum security prison, is the largest women's prison in New York State and has hosted many infamous prisoners. Delaware Aqueduct

The Delaware Aqueduct is the newest of the New York City aqueducts. It takes water from the Rondout Reservoir through the Chelsea Pump Station, the West Branch Reservoir, and the Kensico Reservoir, ending at the Hillview Reservoir in Yonkers, New York. The aqueduct was constructed between 1939 and 1945, and carries approximately half of the New York City water supply of 1.3 billion US gallons per day. The Delaware Aqueduct leaks up to 36 million US gallons per day.
