Herb Brooks Arena
The Herb Brooks Arena, one of three ice surfaces at the Olympic Center, is a 7,700-seat multi-purpose arena in Lake Placid, New York. This surface, along with the USA Rink was built for the 1980 Winter Olympics. The 1932 Rink – Jack Shea Arena, also in the Olympic Center, was the first indoor arena used for the Winter Olympics. For the 1932 Games, it hosted the figure skating and six of the twelve ice hockey games.

Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum
The 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, sometimes referred to as the Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, in Lake Placid, New York, commemorates the 1932 Winter Olympics and 1980 Winter Olympics, which were based in the village. It is the only Olympic museum in the United States and is a part of the work of New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority in the Lake Placid Olympic Region. Lake Placid is the only North American city to have hosted two separate Winter Olympics.
