Maybrook is a village in Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 2,958 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. It is located mostly in the Town of Montgomery, but a small portion is in the Town of Hamptonburgh.

Bodine's Bridge
Bodine's Bridge carries NY 211 across the Wallkill River, a mile (1.6 km) south (west by the highway's signed direction) of the village of Montgomery, New York, USA, near Orange County Airport. At 340 feet (103 m) in length, the steel through truss is the longest bridge along Route 211. The current bridge was built in 1933, and reconstructed in 1970.

Valley Central Middle School

The school's 1,213 students come from not only the village and town of Montgomery but Walden and Maybrook as well. The school was originally named Valley Central Junior High School and educated grades 7-9.

Valley Central High School
Valley Central High School is located in Montgomery, New York. It educates students in grades 9-12 in the Valley Central School District, which includes much of the town of Montgomery, portions of neighboring Wallkill and Newburgh and the three villages of Maybrook, Montgomery and Walden as well as parts of Campbell Hall and Coldenham. The building was constructed in 1961, with some additions in the 1990s. It has a wide lower level and a smaller second story.
