Millerton, New York

Millerton is a village in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 958 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. The name is from Sidney Miller, a railroad contractor. Millerton was named one of the "ten coolest small towns in America" by Frommer's Budget Travel Magazine in 2007.

Boston Corner, New York

Boston Corner is a hamlet of the town of Ancram in Columbia County, New York, United States and the town of Northeast in Dutchess County, New York. It was formerly part of the town of Mount Washington, Massachusetts and was annexed to New York State on April 13, 1857, because its geographical isolation from the rest of Massachusetts made maintaining law and order difficult.

Gridley Mountain

Gridley Mountain, 2,211 feet, is the third highest elevation in the state of Connecticut. The mountain, part of the Taconic Range, has no official trail and is located on private property. The Mount Washington Road passes the mountain from the west. Gridley Mountain is located in Salisbury, Connecticut. It is flanked to the northwest by Round Mountain, to the northeast by Bear Mountain, and to the west by Brace Mountain.
