Ripley, New York
Ripley is a town on Lake Erie in the westernmost part of Chautauqua County, New York, USA. The population was 2,415 at the 2000 census. The town was named after General Eleazer Wheelock Ripley. There are no incorporated villages in the town, but there is one CDP: Ripley. It is perhaps best known as being the western end of the New York State Thruway.

Mercyhurst North East
Mercyhurst North East is a Catholic liberal arts college located in North East, Pennsylvania, and is a branch campus of Mercyhurst University. It was established in 1991, when Mercyhurst College purchased the former home of the Redemptorist Fathers, a seminary built in 1868. Mercyhurst North East offers one-year certificates and two-year associate degrees in a variety of majors. As of the 2009–2010 academic year, the school enrolled more than 1,060 students, both resident and commuter.

North East is a borough in northwestern Pennsylvania's Erie County, 14 miles northeast of Erie. Fruit growing was an early economic endeavor, and is still to this day, as this is a popular area for especially cherries and grapes. There is an annual Cherry Festival in the summer and an annual Wine Country Harvest Festival in the fall. It contains one college, Mercyhurst North East. In 1900, 2,068 people called it home, and in 1910, 2,672 people resided here.
