The Snow Hole

The Snow Hole is located in the Taconic Mountains, New York, USA along the ridge line between Bald Mountain and the White Rock (Taconic Mountains). It is a crevasse in which snow can be found well into the summer. The snow hole can be accessed by hiking the Taconic crest trail about 2.7 miles north from the Petersburgh pass parking area off Route 2. St. Mark's Episcopal Church (Hoosick Falls, New York)

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located on Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York, United States. It is a mid-19th century brick building. The congregation itself was founded in the 1830s. Architect Henry Dudley designed it according to the Ecclesiological principles of Episcopal church design, after English country parish churches, which they held to be the ideal for churches of that denomination. Uncharacteristically, he used brick rather than stone.
