Palisades, New York
Palisades, formerly known as Sneden's Landing, is a hamlet in the Town of Orangetown in Rockland County, New York, United States, located north of Rockleigh and Alpine, New Jersey; east of Tappan; south of Sparkill; and west of the Hudson River. The hamlet has no mayor, nor any official legislative bodies. It does, however, have its own library, and post office with the zip code 10964. It is almost entirely residential with the exception of a small industrial area section on the Tappan border.

Tallman Mountain State Park
Tallman Mountain State Park is a New York State Park located in the Town of Orangetown in Rockland County, New York, adjacent to the Hudson River. It is located just south of Piermont and includes part of Piermont Marsh, which is included in the Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve. It is part of the Palisades Interstate Park System. The park covers 687 acres and has five miles of hiking trails including a section of the Long Path and the Tallman Mountain Bike Path.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 531, reflecting an increase of 140 (+35.8%) from the 391 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 121 (+44.8%) from the 270 counted in the 1990 Census.

Dobbs Ferry (Metro-North station)
The Dobbs Ferry Metro-North Railroad station serves residents of Dobbs Ferry, New York via the Hudson Line. Trains leave for New York City every 25 to 35 minutes on weekday rush-hour (peak trains). Northvale is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,640, reflecting an increase of 180 (+4.0%) from the 4,460 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 103 (-2.3%) from the 4,563 counted in the 1990 Census. Northvale was formed on March 15, 1916, from the remaining portions of Harrington Township, based on the results of a referendum held on April 4, 1916.
