Pelham, New York

Pelham is a town in Westchester County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 12,396. Historically, Pelham was composed of five villages and became known as "the Pelhams". Pelham currently contains two independently incorporated villages: the Village of Pelham and Pelham Manor, Approximately 28 minutes away from Grand Central Terminal by the Metro-North train, Pelham is home to many New York City commuters.

Pelham (Metro-North station)

The Pelham Metro-North Railroad station serves Pelham, New York, via the New Haven Line. The station is one mile west of the point where the New Haven Line joins the Northeast Corridor and just east of the end of third rail power and start of overhead catenary power. Pelham is 15.1 miles from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time from Grand Central is 32 minutes. Pelham Station was built in 1893 by the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad.

New Rochelle (Metro-North station)

The New Rochelle (Metro-North Railroad) station serves New Rochelle, New York, via the New Haven Line. Mount Vernon East (Metro-North station)

The Mount Vernon East Metro-North Railroad station serves passengers at Mount Vernon, New York, via the New Haven Line. The station is the first station north of the junction where the New Haven Line splits from the Harlem Line and is the only station on the line before it changes from third rail power to overhead catenary power, which takes place north of there, between Mount Vernon East and Pelham stations.
