Charles B. Wang Center
The Charles B. Wang Center, located at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York, is dedicated to understanding Asian and American cultures, and the interactions of these cultures with other world cultures. The center was completed in 2002, and was designed by P.H. Tuan. Building of the center was intended to be funded by Charles B. Wang through an over 40 million dollar donation to Stony Brook University, the largest ever private donation to a SUNY school.

Staller Center
The Staller Center for the Arts is the main arts building at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Originally called the fine arts center, it was renamed after a $2 million donation by the Staller family, including former Old Field Mayor Cary F. Staller, who own commercial real estate on Long Island. Located on the main campus, it consists of two main divisions. One section houses the music and art departments, while the other consists of the theatre, media, and dance departments.

Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library
The Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library is the main library at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. It is named for the father of philanthropist Ward Melville. Originally constructed in 1962 as a modest sized three-story building, it was renovated almost immediately and greatly expanded and re-dedicated in 1967. It holds more than 2.1 million bound volumes and over four million rolls of microfilm.
