Joseph L. Bruno Stadium
Joseph L. Bruno Stadium is a stadium located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. It is the home field of the Tri-City ValleyCats minor league baseball team, a member of the historic New York-Penn League. Located in the center of the tri-city area of New York's Capital Region (Albany, Schenectady and Troy), the 'Cats play 38 home games at "The Joe" from June through September.

Emma Willard School
The Emma Willard School, originally called Troy Female Seminary and often referred to simply as "Emma," is an independent university-preparatory day and boarding school for young women, located in Troy, New York{{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:42|42|43.85|N|73|39|49.49|W| |primary |name= }} on Mount Ida, offering grades 9-12 and postgraduate coursework. It was founded by the women's advocate Emma Willard in 1814 and has an endowment of $83 million.

Burden Iron Works
The Burden Iron Works was an iron works and industrial complex on the Hudson River and Wynantskill Creek in Troy, New York. It once housed the Burden Water Wheel, the most powerful vertical water wheel in history. It most likely inspired George Washington Ferris to build the Ferris wheel. The iron works site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an archaeological site in 1977. The Burden Ironworks Office Building was previously listed in 1972.

Menands Bridge
The Menands Bridge, officially known as the Troy-Menands Bridge, carries New York State Route 378 across the Hudson River in New York connecting Menands with Troy. A through truss span, it was built in 1933. The bridge once featured a pair of elevating towers, as the bridge was once built to accommodate tall ships. The lifting device was removed in 1966, but the towers remained until their removal in the summer of 2000.
