Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area
Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area, part of the New York state park system, is located six miles south of Honeoye, New York, off Canadice Hill Rd. in Ontario County, New York. The park is in the south part of the Town of Canadice. Open year-round, the recreation area offers panoramic views of the countryside, including Honeoye Lake. Because of its elevation, this recreation area gets more snow than many parks in the area, making it a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts.

Hemlock Lake
Hemlock Lake is one of the minor Finger Lakes. It is mostly located in Livingston County, New York, south of Rochester, with a portion overlapping into Ontario County. Hemlock Lake is seven miles (12 km) long, and approximately a half-mile wide along most of its uniform north-south length. It has a surface area of 1,800 acres, and maximum and mean depths of 91 feet and 45 feet respectively.
