Belews Creek Township is one of fifteen townships in Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA. The township had a population of 6,160 according to the 2010 census. Geographically, Belews Creek Township occupies 32.33 square miles in central Forsyth County. There are no incorporated municipalities in Belews Creek Township, however the small unincorporated community of Belews Creek is located here.

Belews Lake
Belews Lake is a reservoir in Stokes, Rockingham, Guilford and Forsyth counties of North Carolina, near the towns of Stokesdale and Pine Hall. It was created in 1973 by the Duke Energy corporation to provide cooling water for the corporation's Belews Creek Steam Station, a coal-burning power plant. The lake has a surface area of 3,864 acres and an 88-mile shoreline. It is held back by a rolled earth dam and a concrete spillway.

The only incorporated municipality within Sauratown Township is Walnut Cove. There are also several unincorporated communities located here.

Walnut Cove is a town in Stokes County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,465 at the 2000 census. It is the home of the Walnut Festival which draws many walnut lovers to the area. It also houses historic Monitor Roller Mills and a portion of North Camp Lake. Walnut Cove is also home to South Stokes High School whose team mascot name honors the native American Indian Saura tribe. Belews Lake and Hanging Rock State Park are located nearby.
