The Davidson County Solar Farm is a 17.2 megawatt solar power station located in the heart of North Carolina, near the community of Linwood. The Bringle Ferry Bridge is a crossing of the Yadkin River Channel and the Tuckertown Reservoir in Rowan County, North Carolina and Davidson County, North Carolina. The bridge is on Bringle Ferry Road between Salisbury, North Carolina and Denton, North Carolina. It is the only crossing of the Yadkin River between the Interstate 85 bridge at Spencer, North Carolina and the NC Hwy 49 bridge near Richfield, North Carolina.

Providence Township is one of fourteen townships in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 8,892 according to the 2000 census. Geographically, Providence Township occupies 54.41 square miles in southeastern Rowan County. The only incorporated municipality in Providence Township is a large portion of the town Granite Quarry. The township's northern and eastern boundary is with the Yadkin River and the township contains a portion of High Rock Lake.
