Concord (kon-kord) is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. According to Census 2010, the city has a current population of 79,066. It is the largest city in Cabarrus County and is the county seat. In terms of population, the city of Concord is the second largest city in the Charlotte Metropolitan Area and is the twelfth largest city in North Carolina. The city was also a winner of the All-America City Award in 2004.

First Assembly Christian School (North Carolina)
First Assembly Christian School (FACS) is a college preparatory school founded in 1976 as a part of the ministry of First Assembly Worship Center in Concord, North Carolina. The school began as a desire to assist the members of the church in the education of their children. By 1988 there were approximately 500 students in the school.
