Broadbay Township, Forsyth County, North Carolina

Broadbay Township is one of fifteen townships in Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA. The township had a population of 2,002 according to the 2010 census. The name "Broadbay" is an interesting one 300 miles from the coast. Settlers who came in 1770 to join the Moravian Church and found the settlement of Friedland originated from Waldoboro, Maine, a town known at the time as "Broad Bay". The settlers named the new area in Wachovia after their former town on the coast of Maine.

Bowman Gray Stadium is a NASCAR sanctioned ⁄4-mile asphalt flat oval short track and football stadium located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is one of stock car racing's most legendary venues, and is referred to as "NASCAR's longest-running weekly race track". Bowman Gray Stadium is part of the Winston-Salem Sports and Entertainment Complex and is home of the Winston-Salem State University Rams football team.

C. E. Gaines Center

The C.E. Gaines Center is a basketball arena on the campus of Winston-Salem State University. It is named for former WSSU men's basketball coach Clarence "Bighouse" Gaines, who led the men's basketball team for 47 years. The facility has a capacity of 3,200 spectators and opened in 1978.
