Horne Creek Living Historical Farm
Horne Creek Farm is a historical farm in Pinnacle, Surry County, North Carolina. The farm is a North Carolina State Historic Site, and is operated to depict farm life in the northwest Piedmont area circa 1900. The site includes the late 19th century Hauser farmhouse, which has been furnished to reflect the 1900-1910 era, a well/wash house, smokehouse, tobacco curing barn, corncrib, fruit house and a reconstructed fruit and vegetable drying house.

Shoals Township is one of 15 townships in Surry County, North Carolina. The township had a population of 1,872 according to the 2000 census. Geographically, Shoals Township occupies 28.7 square miles in southern Surry County, with its southern border running along the Yadkin River. There are no incorporated municipalities within Shoals Township, however there are several smaller, unincorporated communities located here, including the community of Shoals.
